Spring is all about change, brushing off the winter nights and saying hello to longer days. It's also about pushing to challenge yourself, setting goals and knocking down barriers. Here at Attitude we have experienced our fair share of changes, always striving to better ourselves in what we do. The world saw Google announce charges to all websites that were not mobile responsive, did you make sure to update yours? We've seen Pinterest leap into the forefront of social media, becoming a worldwide hub for inspiration and motivation. Attitude have opened up our very own account - be sure to follow us to see what fuels our creative minds. We started #attitudefordesign on twitter - complete with inspirational and thought provoking quotes for everything design, and introduced you to our team with hard hitting questions on our "Getting To Know" blog posts. It's all in a days work but also what keeps us passionate about our jobs, and the driving force behind our 7 years of success. See below to see some of the various projects we worked on this past spring. Here's to longer days and chasing that sunset this summer...
Added Scientific specialise in 3D printing and technical services, they approached us to help them with the generation of brand identity as well as the design and build of a new website. The process of branding is challenging but once completed the results have long term benefits. We helped identify Added Scientific's brand story, which led to their brand image and website which is shown below. You can see that the website has a simple "straight to the point" design that reflects the company.
Gray & Bull approached us to design a logo that was specifically for their ‘Time For Sight’ service. This service offers eye examinations to people in hospital, prison, care homes and those who are immobile at home. The final logo we designed is simple, snappy and catchy with an abstract pair of glasses replacing the ‘g’ in ‘sight’.
The Scan Clinic commissioned us with the creation of a new, fresh modern website whilst keeping their brand identity and overall image in mind. Scan Clinic provides ultrasound scans for a wide range of health conditions, including 4D pregnancy scans. The website design is simple and clean, with a banded structure and minimalist iconography. Take a look at their slick new website here.
Fancy a trip to Vienna? We produced a brochure for the Sigmund Freud Tour in Vienna, these were distributed to entice holiday makers to attend the Tour and visit the places that impacted Dr. Sigmund Freud's psychological interests and discoveries. Not only did we do what we love - design and create, but we learnt a few pretty interesting facts too. The brochure is minimal in it's approach, with strong messaging and a clear visual direction. If you're ever in Vienna be sure to look out for them!
An energy drink, produced by aDNA, requried a smart packaging design for its launch which is coming soon (at s music festival in Spain we do believe!). We designed the packaging around a clean metallic brand name, with the can finished in matte black with a red pattern alluding to a DNS strand. We also added the snappy slogan "what are you made of?" to the design. The final cans are shown below - we would love to hear your thoughts!
Actons solicitors based in Nottingham wanted to refresh their website and so contacted Attitude Design to tender for this. We designed their website so that its new structure is user friendly and has a fresh, appealing design. The main page of the website is easy to navigate, with many pages just one click away. Once again, we enjoyed working with Actons!
A new client for us, Eat Sleep Live, is a Nottingham based retail store selling beautiful hand-crafted furniture. The company is celebrating their 10th anniversary and so has opened a show room in the city centre. We were approached to help them develop and tell their brand story, as well as a new website design that promotes and enhances their rustic British furniture. This included a photoshoot by our photographer, Alex, and some daring yellow posters were designed for the store sale (which went down a storm). We have really enjoyed working with Eat Sleep Live, take a look at their new website here.
